01What arethestages oftherecruitment process atCSHARK?
Thestages depend onthespecific project forwhich we’re recruiting, sothey mayvary slightly. Firstly, always expect aconversation witharecruiter whowill guide you through theentire process (you canchoose betweenaphone call orTeams/Google Meet). At thenext stage, depending ontheproject, your potential supervisor and/or atechnical expert mayjoin theconversation. There might be arequest fromourside tosolve atask as part ofthetechnical verification. Afterthat, allthat’s left towait foris feedback and(hopefully) the offer.
02Howshould Iprepare fortherecruitment interview?
Beforethescheduled meeting, take another look atthejob description. Consider whether everything is clear toyou. If anydoubts arise, thefirst interview will be thebest time tolet us know what additional information you need.
Refresh your career journey. Often duringtheinterview, we ask about thetasks you’ve performed inprevious jobs.
Also, think about anyformal matters, such as thenotice period, salary, theexpected form ofcooperation, andyour specific preferences.
Remember that theinterview is ameeting oftwo sides. We speak andlisten ina50/50 ratio. We’ll be interested inwhat aspects areimportant toyou andwill answer allyour questions.
03CanIintern atCSHARK?
We don’t organize internships onaregular basis. Nevertheless, we encourage you tocheck thejob offers section. Allourcurrent announcements canbe found there. If we start looking forindividuals interested inaninternship, such information will definitely appear there right away.
04CanIwork remotely?
Yes, we operate inaremote-first mode. However, we have individual smaller teams that areentirely based inoneofourlocations, andwe undertake projects where we occasionally meet withtheclient on-site. If your future team works inahybrid mode, you’ll always find this information inthejob posting. If it’s notmentioned, it means you canwork entirely remotely (butwe hope tomeet you fromtime totime inoneofouroffices inWrocław orBielsko-Biała).
05What does thecareer path look like atCSHARK?
We operate withdifferent levels ofseniority. You’ll find people inroles such as junior, mid-level, senior, tech lead, orarchitect. Moving toahigher position is always determined individually anddepends onyour growth. If we notice progress inyour work, we’ll gladly offer apromotion. On theother hand, if you feel that you would like tomove toa‘higher level,’ we’re open tohaving aconversation.
06CanIchange theproject?
If you wish tochange theproject, you should first communicate this toyour line manager. We then organize ameeting tounderstand thereasons forthedesire tochange, expectations regarding thenewproject, andother relevant aspects.
Changing theproject doesn’t happen overnight because beforemaking thechange, we need toinform thecurrent team, notify theclient, find areplacement, andconfirm thenewproject. However, nothing’s impossible forus. We’re very keen onensuring that every person works onaproject that brings fulfillment.
07Is there apossibility ofinternational travel as part ofthejob?
Yes, onsome projects, we have theopportunity totravel abroad; afterall, we mainly collaborate withinternational clients.
Working abroad is always voluntary, andno oneis obligated todo so. If, however, we anticipate that aperson will need towork outside Poland, we’ll include this information inthejob offer.
08Is thejob posting that Isee onthewebsite still valid?
We update ourCareer page regularly. If ajob offer is still visible, therecruitment process is ongoing, andwe eagerly await your application.
Forsome roles related toourcore technology, we have regular demand, soselected job postings maybe displayed onthewebsite foranextended period.
09What if Idon’t see anyjob postings that match my technical skills?
We encourage you tospontaneously submit your CV through ourwebsite. Every application is saved inourdatabase. When anewvacancy opens, we first reach outtocandidates fromthe database, so you’ll be oneofthe‘early birds’.
10What level ofEnglish is required?
We require agood enough command foryou tobe able tocommunicate comfortably within theteam orwiththeclient. We don’t need anylanguage certificates. Your proficiency inEnglish will be assessed duringtherecruitment interview.
